Description
This is one of the many cultural dances performed by the locals in Dominica. This Quadrille is a square dance of French origin. These Jing Ping Dances are always performed with the Jing Ping Bands. Others include, Bele`, its origin being African, Mazook, its origin in Poland but brought over by the French to Dominica and a later Quadrille called Lancer, a traditional English, Scottish and Irish dance which the British brought over.
